The Next Generation Of Custom Sound Chip Technology. After years of development by Kurzweil's Boston-based engineers, Kurzweil's next generation custom chip technology is now included throughout our new X-Pro piano lineup. Designed specifically to the highest musical and audio quality standards, this technology offers a range of deep expression and spectacular sound unlike any other. Depth Is The Key To A Realistic Piano Sound. Using our Triple-Strike Grand Piano sample and up to 32 layers per voice, the X-Pro Piano sounds are unequalled in dynamic range, expressiveness, and realism. And our multiple ambience effects realistically enhance those sounds just like a fine concert hall. Equally Realistic Orchestral Instrument Sounds. Every instrument has unique sonic characteristics governed by its physical structure, and Kurzweil has captured and recreated these faithfully. The X-Pro digital pianos provide exceptional control, responsiveness, and dynamic range, with the ability to recreate other instrument sounds as realistically as they do piano. Sliding Keycover Enhances Safety. Traditional keyboard covers are tricky and sometimes even dangerous. The X-Pro digital piano models feature sliding keycovers that are easy to operate and exceptionally safe, even for children. Natural Piano Keyboard Weight and Touch. Most digital pianos fall short in simulating the true feel of a quality piano action. The X-Pro digital pianos feature fully weighted hammer-action keyboard assemblies crafted by Italian masters. And the adjustable touch optimizes the instrument's response for any player from child to accomplished pro. Standard Computer and MIDI Connections. The X-Pro digital pianos feature a USB jack and cable for easy, driverless computer connection. The conventional MIDI jacks allow direct connection to other instruments, sound modules, and MIDI recorders. Cabinet: Upright. Keyboard: Next Generation 88 note fully weighted hammer action.
